Make students feel happy about learning by introducing real-time role play in the classroom. The majority of teachers feel that this is one awesome way to get students' attention. Being a last-bench student myself, I don’t remember a single concept that did not involve interesting teaching methods.

I still remember my eighth-grade biology teacher who would show us videos on every single important concept in the textbook. This helped me remember very small details when they appeared in the exam.

Every student is never the same. So, It's not right to use the same teaching method for all students.

Here are a few ways that teachers can make the classroom collaborative and interesting at the same time.

Use Technology: There are hundreds of apps that help teachers to create engaging lessons without much effort. Show them videos and explain concepts.

Conduct interesting activities and games related to the topic to help students engage in the classroom.

Avoid boring lectures: Everyone’s attention span is different and thus long classes will make students disinterested in learning.

Let students lead: help them open up about their thoughts, talk in public without being embarrassed, and support one another. Thus encourage them in participating and presenting in small groups.

Use Ice-Breakers: As I said earlier, a person listening span is just 8 minutes, and to bring them back to the present, Icebreakers will be a great effective way.

Track student performance

We cannot expect every student to learn at the same pace. There are various free tools available that can help teachers easily track students' performance in every activity. Be it attendance, homework, tests, or behavior can be easily monitored and analyzed.

Using these tools, understand what the children find difficult to learn and re-teach the concepts through different methods like digital resources or worksheets. But the goal is to make progress as a team on the particular topic.

Students tend to feel pressurized when they are given homework. But what if we make it challenging and gamified? They will obviously love it.

Use tools to track homework, Give rewards or points for the completion of homework, and give them real-life implementational projects rather than book back Q&As. This will improve their view on homework and make it very interesting.

This proves that it’s possible to increase student engagement without any new or expensive educational technology or razzle-dazzle. Instead, creating a simple outline for teachers to follow and apply in their classrooms will help increase student interest and learning.

It would be especially useful if these steps were implemented in a natural way by the teacher throughout the class. It may take some trial and error, but with a little teamwork, students are going to absolutely love learning like never before.
